Temporary tattoos have become a popular alternative to permanent tattoos for those who want to experiment with different designs or just want to try out a new look for a short period of time. But how do these temporary tattoos work?

There are two types of temporary tattoos: film-based and no-film options.

This film is applied to the skin, and as it gets wet, the ink is released from the film and adheres to the skin. The tattoo will last for a few days and can be removed with rubbing alcohol or baby oil.</h3>

TATTS is a plant-based formula, with our active ingredient derived from the Americana plant. TATTS works similarly to henna, using a different molecule to penetrate the skin cell and react with organic compounds to change the color of your skin. Both TATTS and henna tattoos are semi-permanent, sitting in the epidermis layer of the skin and lasting for around 1.5-2.5 weeks, depending on placement, daily activity, exfoliation, and skin moisture. It's important to note that there's a difference between semi-permanent and temporary tattoos. Temporary tattoos simply sit on top of the skin and wash off, while semi-permanent tattoos penetrate the skin and actually alter its color.
